Welcome to Brayton Park

About our resort

Brayton Park is one of North West Cumbria’s landmarks with a history dating back to the time of the Norman Conquests. Renowned for its history as well as its beautiful location, the same family has owned the estate for the last three generations.

If you’re looking for a stylish resort destination, which boasts a quiet countryside location along with great restaurant food and a range of leisure activities including golf and fishing plus easy access to the Lake District, then Brayton Park fits the bill perfectly.

The Northern Lake District is on the doorstep with all kinds of places to visit and things to do. Fell walking through to sailing, cycling, museums, eating out and enjoying a drink in a cosy Cumbrian pub: you can do any of these and more within easy reach of Brayton Park.

At Lakeside restaurant we take great pride in supplying you good wholesome food sourced from local producers, taking pride in what is grown or reared around us, we see this association as a guarantee of quality.

Harry Ward and Hazel Bainbridge work closely with the head chef, farmers, growers, bakers and suppliers of every kind to ensure that each link in the supply chain is as local and genuine as it can be. Enjoy the culmination of the team’s efforts by joining us for a meal at Lakeside.
